Hands that make each day begin again and bring to light our distant dreams. We have but one more chance in this the hour of our new life to heal the wounds which time does bring, which time does bring.

Reaching out and touching: are you there to offer smile, or eyes or tear? This moment filled with trust can make us whole, yes, if we will. The touch of hands such healing brings, such healing brings.

(Antiphon)

So loved by God are we and called to be a presence of gentleness and compassion, lifting burdens. Yes, may our hearts be free to bear with others, forgiving, reaching out to understand with love.

Freely as the Lord forgives us may we find the strength of heart, graciously, sincerely to forgive. (Ant)

Joyous wonder of faith’s wholeness which within our heart does dwell: Jesus Christ, whose peace we share as one. (Ant)

LISTEN

(1)

Listen and gently be present to all you’ve ever close kept in your loving heart. Try to remember the moments when you felt clearly the gift to be truly alive.

(2)

Often look up and see the splendor of life suspended in your heart and mind so… longing to be forever alive in this moment’s stillness: the thrush echoes your delight.

(3)

Bright the colors of hidden longing and dreams wet woven in silk and in rainbow wonder.

(4)

Shadows appear at your doorsteps, but don’t you worry, life’s lesson has blossomed now. This moment immense with a stillness that makes you listen and want to be listening, and want to be listening.

COME AND JOURNEY WITH ME

(1)

Come to the song, come to the dance, bring all you are, bring all you be. Come with your voice, come with your heart. Come and journey with me. Come and journey with me.

(2)

Come let the sun fill up your eyes. Take the time to look around, and love, just love, and walk with each other, come and journey with me. Come and journey with me.

(Interlude: instrumental duet)

(3)

Come and see, come and be. Be all you are and all you can be, and leave all behind and calm your mind. Come and journey with me. Come and journey with me.

I LOVE YOU, LORD

// I love You, Lord, and I lift my voice to worship You; O my soul, rejoice! Take joy, my King, in what You hear; may it be a sweet, sweet sound in Your ear. //

[This is first sung in acapella, then with chords, and then with combined voices.]

THE HARVEST OF JUSTICE

(1)

May we find richness in the harvest of justice which Christ Jesus has ripened for us. Bread for the journey, Bread for the hungry, all for the glory and praise of God.

(2)

Gather with patience for those who have nothing. Leave them your riches, and you will receive. Make room for the poor ones, make way for the stranger; for I am the Lord, the Lord your God.

(3)

For to have mercy on those forgatten, This is My true law, this is My command: Clothe the naked, be home for the orphan, be hope for the widow, and welcome the lost.

(4)

For to have little is to be in abundance. To give what remains, to give all we have, is to walk with the poor ones, and become the stranger, one with the Lord, the Lord our God.

DEEP WITHIN

(Refrain)

Deep within I will plant My law, not on stone, but in your heart. FOLLOW Me, I will bring you back, you will be My own, and I will be your God.

(1)

I will give you a new heart, a new spirit within you, for I will be your strength. (Ref)

(2)

Seek My face, and see you God, for I will be your hope. (Ref)

(3)

Return to Me, with all your heart, and I will bring you back. (Ref)

WE WHO ONCE WERE DEAD

(1)

We who once were dead now alive fully knowing Jesus as our head. Life is overflowing when He breaks the bread.

(2)

We were lost in night but you sought and found us. Give us strength to fight; death is all around us. Jesus, be our light.

(3)

He became our bread; Jesus died to save us. On Him we are fed. Eating what He gave us, Rising from the dead.

(4)

Let us share the pain You endured in dying; We shall then remain living; death defying, We shall rise again.

(5)

Jesus, You were dead, but You rose and, living made Yourself our bread, in Your goodness giving Life though we were dead.

(6)

This is Your design; In this meal we meet You. Be our bread and wine, Jesus we entreat You. This shall be our sign.

KNOWN TO US

(Refrain)

Known to us in the breaking of the Bread, You are the Christ our Savior, Jesus, Lord, at Your table we are fed; You are the Bread of Life.

(1)

Jesus, Lamb of God, Living Light, Loving Lord; Jesus, Lamb of God: Bread of Life for us. (Ref)

(2)

Our eyes are open, our hearts are full, Here at this table One Bread is broken for all. (Ref)

(3)

Many are the grains of wheat that form the single bread; Though many are the names we bear, we are one in the Bread we share. (Ref)
